Gold Science Award!
Published on June 9, 2023

We received word that our school has achieved an SFI Curious Minds Award (formerly Primary Science Award). We met all the criteria for the Gold Award!!!
Some feedback on our Log of Evidence:

Congratulations on delivering an excellent log of your SFI Curious Minds experiences this year. The log clearly demonstrates evidence of the whole school getting involved and having a lot of fun. There is an impressive range of STEM engagement across the school; it’s fantastic to see the breath of activities happening within all classes – developing solar powered windmills, setting up your own podcast, learning about Maths through P.E, and an impressive bug mansion! Visits and talks from researchers in SETU and Yvonne O’Toole are brilliant ways to boost engagement with and enjoyment of STEM subjects!

We have to say a huge well done to all involved, pupils, teachers and school staff. To our parents also, that help at home with the different projects. Finally, to Ms. Kealy, for all her hard work in putting the log of evidence together and submitting our application.
